At MyKidz Early Learning, we offer a fully funded kindergarten program in a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
Our program follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), endorsed by the Council of Australian Governments, supporting children’s social, emotional, physical, and early academic development.
What makes our kindergarten program special is the way it is enriched with Montessori principles, alongside the Australian early learning curriculum.
This blended approach encourages independence, confidence, and a genuine love of learning, while supporting each child’s natural curiosity and school readiness.
The Early Years Learning Framework is built around three key principles:
Children develop a strong sense of identity through secure relationships and feeling valued within their community.
Childhood is recognised as a valuable time in its own right, where children are encouraged to explore, play, and engage in the present moment.
Children experience rapid growth as they build independence, confidence, and new skills.
The EYLF is further supported in Victoria through the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, which provides an integrated approach to learning from birth to eight years, using play as the foundation for intellectual, physical, social, and creative development.
Our funded kindergarten program for children aged 3–5 years is enriched with Montessori principles to give children the strongest possible start to their learning journey.
Montessori education is guided by the philosophy “Help me to do it myself.”
At MyKidz, educators act as gentle guides, carefully preparing the learning environment and supporting children to explore, experiment, and learn at their own pace. Children are encouraged to follow their interests, make choices, and develop problem-solving skills in a respectful and supportive setting.
